Nick Wiltshire Biography

I am a photographer and visual artist with 27 years experience in the industry. I am most interested in the areas of landscape, street, social documentary with specially interested in narrative based and/or immersive pictorial works.

The subject matter of my own work surrounds the movement of people around the area that I live (the Chilterns, London, South East of England, etc), what is understood to be the romantic notion of wilderness ("just over there") and the politics of place and movement; routines, rules, conventions, laws, rituals and pilgrimages: Work - Leisure - Home - Repeat

I am an advocate of the photographic print and experiment in both digital and analogue printing (sometimes mixed together!). I totally believe in and love to see experimental, immersive and well crafted works of photographic art as physical objects or as virtual, immersive spaces on the internet.
